Dr. Phillip A. Cox earned B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from Pacific University in 2011 and University of Washington in 2016, respectively. His graduate work in Professor David Ginger’s group focused on developing electrostatic force microscopy for studying the relationship between film structure and device function and degradation in organic photovoltaics. He is now a staff member of the Washington Clean Energy Testbeds, providing equipment support and characterization expertise to users of the laboratory.
